In most firms you meet a senior person once and are then handed to someone else. We do not work that way, and it is worth explaining why.

What handing along costs

A brief degrades every time it is retold. The detail that mattered most, the thing you mentioned once about your mother visiting in summer, does not survive the handover. Six months later you are being shown houses that answer a summary of what you said rather than what you said.

What it looks like in practice

The advisor who takes your first call is the advisor who walks the houses, negotiates, and is there at completion. If a search runs to nine months, that is nine months with one person who remembers the whole of it.

It is the main reason we keep the number of searches low. One advisor throughout only works if that advisor has the room for you.
